Who is Yehouda Avikzar?
Yehouda Avikzar is one of the most highly-ranked Krav Maga experts in the world, holding a 10th Dan since May 21, 2024. He is the only direct biological descendant in the unbroken lineage of Krav Maga since the system was created by Imi Lichtenfeld in 1948.
His father, Eli Avikzar (1937-2004), was the first person in the world to obtain a Krav Maga black belt (1971), certified personally by Imi. Eli also served as the 2nd Chief Instructor of Krav Maga for the IDF, succeeding Imi himself.
Trained from age 4 by his father, Yehouda became the youngest black belt in Krav Maga history at age 14. Today, he carries forward the Avikzar System — a teaching method based on Imi's original principles, simplified through biomechanical efficiency and adapted to real-world situations.
