I can't shout for help — blocked

Blocked help-shouting is the 1st sideration symptom. The larynx contracts involuntarily, even an inner scream doesn't come out. That's why many victims 'know' but 'can't' ask for help.

Waarom dit gebeurt — het mechanisme

Voluntary larynx control runs through the recurrent laryngeal nerve (vagus branch). Under dorsal vagal freeze, this nerve is inhibited. The internal scream reaches cortex but doesn't descend to vocal cords.

Hoe het Avikzar-Systeem hierop antwoordt

Avikzar solution: train the 'low yell' — diaphragmatic grunt that bypasses blocked larynx. More forced exhale than articulated scream. Audible at 50m and triggerable even under freeze.

Yehouda Avikzar (10e Dan)De freeze is niet uw schuld — het is uw biologie. Maar trainen na er een te hebben beleefd, dat is uw verantwoordelijkheid.

Veelgestelde vragen

Should I shout 'help' or 'fire'?

'Fire' triggers more responses (FBI 1980s) — fear of spread motivates neighbors to come out.
