How to train your defense reflexes?

Training reflexes needs 3 ingredients: (1) motor repetition >500 reps, (2) stress variations (cardio, noise, fatigue), (3) corrective feedback from a qualified instructor. Minimum effective frequency: 3 sessions/week × 30 min.

Brain plasticity: myelin forms around the most-used neurons, accelerating nerve conduction. A move repeated 500 times under variations is 8× faster than the same move repeated 500 times under identical conditions.
