I can't shout for help — blocked

Blocked help-shouting is the 1st sideration symptom. The larynx contracts involuntarily, even an inner scream doesn't come out. That's why many victims 'know' but 'can't' ask for help.

Perché accade — il meccanismo

Voluntary larynx control runs through the recurrent laryngeal nerve (vagus branch). Under dorsal vagal freeze, this nerve is inhibited. The internal scream reaches cortex but doesn't descend to vocal cords.

Avikzar solution: train the 'low yell' — diaphragmatic grunt that bypasses blocked larynx. More forced exhale than articulated scream. Audible at 50m and triggerable even under freeze.
